Artetorial is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth our current privacy practices with regard to the information we collect when you interact with the Artetorial website and other Artetorial mobile applications (the “Sites”). You hereby acknowledge and fully understand this Policy and consent to the information collection and use practices described in this Policy. Other than as expressly set forth in this Policy, nothing in or omitted from this Policy limits Artetorial’s privacy practices.

In accessing the Artetorial Sites, you acknowledge and agree that this Policy applies to the Service and the Artetorial Sites.

Personal Information

Artetorial’s primary goal in collecting information is to constantly improve our Service to you as the user; to administer your use of the Service, and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Service. If you create a Artetorial account via the Artetorial Sites (“Account”), Artetorial collects certain information such as your name, age/birthdate, mailing address, telephone number, email address, or other information that can be used to contact you or identify you as an individual (the “Personal Information”).

Artetorial collects and uses your Personal Information when you register for an account, sign up for email newsletters and purchase products or services. We use your Personal Information to help customize advertising and content available on the Artetorial Sites, and to conduct research for internal purposes. Some special features, unique services, and promotional opportunities that we offer may also ask you to submit Personal Information to participate. If you have uploaded Artwork (as defined in and pursuant to the Submission Policy), Artetorial may use some of your publicly visible personal information for distribution, advertising and promotional purposes.

We also use “cookies” to collect information from users. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your computer and is stored on your hard drive when you access our Service. When you visit the Artetorial Sites, the cookie identifies your computer to us so that you do not have to re-register each time you visit the Artetorial Sites. Artetorial also uses cookies to identify when a user has logged in to the Artetorial Sites, to tell us how and when a user interacts with the Service, to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on the Artetorial Sites, to return users to a consistent location of their choosing, and to customize and improve our Service and to measure the traffic to the Artetorial Sites and the use of different features of the Service. Although most browsers automatically accept cookies, you have the ability to change your browser options on your computer to stop the automatic acceptance of cookies or to prompt you before accepting cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Artetorial Sites. Note that this Policy only covers our use of cookies and does not include the use of cookies by third parties. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to the Artetorial Sites’ cookies.

 

Sharing Information

WE WILL NEVER SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. We require Personal Information to understand your needs and provide you with better Service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and Service.
  • We may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • We may use the information to customize the Artetorial Sites according to your interests.


Your Account

When you create an Account, you will automatically be enrolled to receive our email newsletter unless you have selected the option that you do not want us to send you our email newsletter.

When your Account is created, your profile page will display your Account user name and certain statistics regarding your own use of the Artetorial Sites, including but not limited to, the date you created an Account, the categories of Artwork you posted and how long ago you last visited the Artetorial Sites. Your profile page will also display information about visitors to your profile page including the user names of those visitors who follow you, and the number of visitors to, and views of your profile page or pages containing Artwork you have submitted to the Artetorial Sites.

Any information or content that you post to your profile page or elsewhere on the Artetorial Sites will be publicly accessible by all users. The user name you create for your Account is visible to all users of the Artetorial Sites. Artetorial is unable to control, and is not responsible for, the use of any information or content that you have exposed to the public through your use of the Artetorial Sites. It is solely your decision to make about what information about you, including your Personal Information, will be visible on your profile page and on the profile pages of other users that you visit.

Even if you choose not to receive information from us, we reserve the right to communicate with you on matters we consider especially important.

Personal Information Changes

You may review, revise and delete your Personal Information at any time on the Artetorial Sites. You may also change your permission settings regarding e-mail newsletters. In the event you delete your Personal Information, some information related to transactions for products and services through the Artetorial Sites is retained indefinitely and Artetorial may retain other Personal Information associated with you in archived/backup copies for Artetorial’s records or as otherwise required by law.

Security

Artetorial is committed to ensuring that your Personal Information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we collect online. Due to the realities of technology, no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of any Personal Information. Artetorial shall endeavor to notify you of any breach of such Personal Information in a timely fashion.

Third Party Activities

The Artetorial Sites contain links to other websites and/or services. This Policy does not apply to the practices of any third party companies or individuals that Artetorial does not control, or any websites and/or services that you link to from the Artetorial Sites. Artetorial is not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of those companies, individuals, websites and/or services and any information that you provide on or to third-party companies, individuals, websites or services are subject to those parties’ privacy policies. You should use caution and review the privacy policies of any websites that you visit from ours to learn more about their information practices.

Children’s Information

We do not intend that children under 13 years old will use the Artetorial Sites or our Service. We do not solicit or knowingly collect information from children under 13 years old, nor will we accept registration from them.

Updates

Any information that we collect is subject to the Policy in effect at the time the information is collected by Artetorial. Artetorial has the discretion to update this Policy from time to time. When Artetorial does so, Artetorial will also revise the “Updated” date at the top of this page. Artetorial encourages you to periodically review this Policy to stay informed about how Artetorial is helping to protect the personal information Artetorial collects. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your agreement to this Policy and any updates.
